INTERACTION FEATURES OF EDUCATION RELATIONS’PARTICIPANTS IN THE SELECTION OF FURTHER EDUCATION AREAS

Abstract

The article solves the actual problem of students' choice of additional education. The results
of the ascertaining study of choosing areas of additional education by the students of the 5th
and 6th grades are presented.
The purpose of the study is to establish and identify the features of interaction of students,
parents, teachers as participants of educational relations in the choice of areas of additional education.
To achieve the goal of the study, the following tasks were solved: 1) the research base
was selected in accordance with certain criteria; 2) the research methods were determined;
3) the research tools were developed, the methods of processing the results were defined; 4) positive
and negative trends in the study of the problem were identified. The study used the methods
of theoretical analysis and synthesis, the method of content analysis, questioning.
The study was based on data of a survey of students of the 5th and 6th grades from “Educational
center No. 4”, Chelyabinsk and the findings of the content analysis of scientific publications
on the problem of further education for the period from 2014 to 2019.
The article analyzes the individual choices of areas of additional education made by students
and the choices made in interaction of different groups in various subsystems: parents – students,
students – students, parents – teachers of additional education, parents – students – teacherspsychologists.
The obtained results allow the author to define the current state of the problem, to identify
trends, to highlight the ways to solve the problem based on identified trends and conditions.
The results of the study can be used in educational practice in the system of students – parents
– teachers interaction to choose the areas of additional education.
