THE COMPLIANCE OF PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS’ REQUIREMENTS WITH THE EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS’ REQUIREMENTS AS THE QUALITY CRITERIA OF “PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT” TRAINING

Abstract

The article deals with the Federal state educational standards of higher education, 49.04.03 “Sport”, concerning the professional standards of the “Head of the organization (organizational unit), operating in the field of physical culture and sport”. The paper makes a comparison of the areas of professional activities and functions, as well as the competencies the graduate should have. The methods used are the study of documentation, comparative analysis, and synthesis. It was revealed that these standards are related to each other in the areas of professional activities, necessary professional competences (knowledge and skills). The harmonization of standards is understood as the quality criteria of training, since the educational process is designed in accordance with the agreed basic documents. It is concluded that for the successful development of professional competence we should include modules of disciplines and practices the study of which will enable the graduates to successfully perform their future work functions.
