HISTORICAL ASPECTS OF THE FORMATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH TOURISM IN THE EDUCATION SYSTE

Abstract

The organization and implementation of tourist activities in the education system being one
of the labor functions of the Professional Standard “Teacher”, has a positive effect on the upbringing
of the younger generation in the context of modernization of public consciousness.
Despite the relevance of the labor functions of a teacher, one of the problems of the tourism development
in the system of general and additional education is the lack of training of specialists
in this area and the lack of consistency in the use of youth tourism in the educational process.
The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to develop tourism in the system of general,
secondary and additional education, to analyze the positive and negative practices of using
child and youth tourism in educational process. To reach the purpose the retrospective analysis of
the development of youth tourism and an assessment of its current state in the education system
were made.
The historical periods of solving the problem of the development of youth tourism are substantiated,
the criteria for periodization are identified and the content characteristics of the identified
periods are described. The historic ways to solve the problem are determined, and the analysis
of the modern period of development is given. The necessity to further study the problem of
the development of youth tourism has been proved.
