Abstract

The study of the linguistic and informational period is caused by the lack of investigation of linguistic personality development in an informational society. The historical side of translators’ professional training is reviewed. The scientific description of linguistic and informational period in the development of the problem of the translator’s secondary linguistic personality formation in the system of professional linguistic education is given. The main characteristic features of the period are singled out. The perspectives of further investigation of the problem are covered.
