Abstract

The integration processes associated with Russia's joining the Bologna process have influenced
the system of Russian higher education, in general, and medical education in particular.
The process of integrating Russian medical universities into the international educational space
requires taking into account many factors and conditions aimed to improve the quality of training
of future doctors. Currently, the solution to this problem is associated with the internationalization
of higher education, a component of which is the academic mobility of students. Much has
already been done in this area in Russian higher education, but to maintain this high level, it is
necessary to look for new ways of development. To a certain extent, this can be done by studying
the experience of training medical students in France, since in the process of its development
the French system of training medical students has already solved the problems facing Russian
education today. In this regard, there is a need to study the practice of professional training of future
medical professionals in France and evaluate it. The article analyzes the system of professional
training of future healthcare professionals in France, which has undergone fundamental changes
over the past half century.
