Abstract

Materials on justification and necessity for the development of intersectoral classifier of defects for welded pipes are presented. The uniform terms and definitions of defects in base metal and welded joint of pipes are set up. Classification of defects depending on the method of manufacture, technology of welded pipes and location of defects is carried out. Regulatory requirements for the defects of welded pipes and repair of them are defined
