Information Awareness as a Factor of Influence on Women’s Attitude to Alcohol Consumption During Pregnancy
Abstract
The article is devoted to the empirical research conducted in connection with the development and testing of education materials within the FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorders) prevention project. The article presents the research results of perception peculiarities of three types of materials (with positive and negative images, positively and negatively designed statements, and brochures given in a neutral way) among women, as well as the influence of positively and negatively represented information on attitudes formation and willingness to reduce or stop drinking alcohol during pregnancy or birth spacing.
