Neuropsychological Assessment of Cognitive Impairment in Patients with Endogenous Depressive Disorders

Abstract

We have analyzed the role of local and lateral influence of brain structures in the nature of the cognitive functions of patients with complex neuropsychological techniques. Thus, patients with organic affective disorders, cognitive deficits are more pronounced. They find a moderate violation of the auditory and visual gnosis, violation of short-term visual and auditory memory, the nominative function of speech, dynamical praxis, gnosis simultaneous. Patients with endogenous affective disorder characterized by deficiency of executive functions, the functions of planning and organization of cognitive activity, the phenomena of inter-hemispheric asymmetry.
