Rapprochement Psychology and Psychiatry on the Basis of the Theory of Biological Evolution

Abstract

In work theoretical representations about a joint origin of mental traits of the personality and mental disorders are reflected. All properties of mentality are considered as the adaptive functions which have arisen at various stages of biological evolution. Interrelations between a psychoevolutionary paradigm and other modern concepts of determination of the mental phenomena and behavior of the person are analyzed.
