Parents’ Personal Characteristics and Peculiarities of a Modern Family

Abstract

The article presents data about the interrelation between some aspects of family relations and parents’ personality characteristics. The study involved 180 people who have children under the age of 16 years. To examine the relationship of the psychological characteristics of family and personal characteristics used the battery of tests by M. Perret. Correlations have been found personal characteristics of parents with methods of punishment and satisfaction with various aspects of family life.
