The Dynamics of Sex-related Manifestations of Anxiety in Adolescents with Psychotic Disorders

Abstract

It is investigated the dynamics of the manifestations of anxiety 82 girls and и 71 boys – teenagers in the structure of schizophrenia, schizotypical disorders and affective disorders of mood, personality and psychotic behavior. It is shown that boys are more alarming than girls. Besides, with the age level of anxiety adolescents is dropping, and sex differences disappear that points to the existence of cognitive distortions, the increasing diffusion of indentity and the trend towards disintegration of personality.
