Abstract

This article discusses the main theoretical positions that contribute to the unification of instructions in a psychological experiment. It is specially noted  the role of instruction in psychophysiological research that  modulate behavior of the experiment. The study is devoted to revealing the relationship of principle of problem solving, as well as the relationship of this process with the dynamics of the success of the verbal tasks solving in experimental series; revealing psychophysiological correlates (by using the method of electroencephalography – EEG), accompanying the process of successful and unsuccessful solution of intellectual tasks. The method of “Generalization of three words” (Kholodnaya M.A., 2012) was used as tasks. In addition, we asked examinees to determine the subjective understanding of the instruction before and after solving of tasks series. The EEG signal recorded in the process of solving problems, method of calculating EEG signal is fractal dimension. Conclusions are presented about localization of brain activity in course of solving intellectual tasks.
