SELF-DETERMINATION FEATURES OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE MODERN SITUATION (BY THE EXAMPLE OF RESEARCH OF THE STUDENTS GETTING FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC EDUCATION)

Abstract

   The article describes phased and longitudinal research materials of the professional selfdetermination features in the modern market conditions for educational and labor services. By the example of the educational choice for the financial and economic professions (an accountant, an economist) it is reflected the disbalance between their high demand among students and their parents, and low demand in the labor market. It is shown the main motivational characteristics of
the choice these professions, reflecting the constant idea of their mass character, prestige, especially
among females due to their gender orientation and opportunities for career growth and material prosperity. It is described the results of comparative study of general psychological and
specialized professional qualities necessary for the success in this area. It was reported that senior students` ideas about the qualities hierarchy shows greater similarity with the ideas of individuals with big professional experience than the junior students` ideas. The data are analyzed in the context of phasing formation of professional and personal self-determination.
