The Personal Peculiarities of Perception Movies with Scenes of Violance
Abstract
The results of psychosemantic estimation of violence scenes in movies and its links with the depression of spectators-students were conducted.
It was found that the movie with violence scenes were estimated more negatively but more "active" and "powerful" than a “neutral” movie. The depression indicators after viewing the film with the violence scenes revealed their decreasing as compared to a “neutral” movie. The psychosemantic and depression measures interacted.
