Abstract

The object of this article is to examine personal attributes and parents relationship patterns in families raising children with ICP of various age groups. The significance of the current study is that both parents' characteristics have been examined very detailed which helps to reveal gender differences, peculiarities of parents adaptation forming as well as its specific depending on a child's age. The study allows to determine the most crisis time of adaptation to living in a family for a child as well as to examine the specific of relationship system changes, neurotic disorders forming as a consequence of parents' adaptation to a chronic stress - attendance and raising of a
special needs child.
