Models of Relations between People of Different Ages: Theoretical Fundamentals of Social-Psychological Analysis

Abstract

The article represents the theoretical analysis of relations between people of different ages (inter-age relations) through the socially-psychological context. By the result, the main parameters for the analysis inter-age relations are «a hierarchy of age statuses» and «differentiation of age characteristics». The article contains characteristic of the four models inter-age relations: age-discriminatory, age-ignores, age-manipulative and age-tolerant.
