INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP AND THE PSYCHOMETRIC PROBLEMS OF ITS DIAGNOSTICS

Abstract

On the basis of empirical research the specifics of innovation leadership of managers of Russian industrial enterprises are discussed psychometric problems of standardization of the results of psychological diagnostics and validation of the  «Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire» B. Bass, B. Avolio intended for psychological diagnosis of structural components of the leadership of managers. To confirm the validity of the criterion analyzed the relationship indicators «Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire» B. Bass, B. Avolio with indicators of creative resources (test G. Rorschach), indicators of the structure of motivation achievement techniques (TAT H. Hekhauzen), performance management styles (questionnaire I.K. Adizes) and indicators of severity team role (questionnaire R.M. Belbin) on a sample of managers of Russian enterprises. Identified the specific relationship of transformational and transactional leadership with indicators creative, motivational, management and command resources, which confirms the validity of multifactor leadership questionnaire for the Russian sample.
