PSYCHOLOGICAL ADJUSTMENT OF PATIENTS WITH STROKE USING GROUP TRAINING

Abstract

Consequences of stroke are often accompanied by motor and cognitive impairment, selfchange patients, making new social role; neurotic, depressive reactions to the disease. The study was designed and carried out a program of psychological correction of the self-representation and the social role of patients with stroke, using a group training. The program included a topicoriented discussion, role- playing techniques, psiсhopantomime, art therapy. After the intervention program in patients with marked reductions in anxiety, depression, the self-improvement. The study involved 108 patients with stroke.
