RESEARCH SCOPE OF CROSS-CULTURAL ADAPTATION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS AND JUSTIFICATION OF THE CHOICE OF METHODS OF ITS RESEARCH

Abstract

This interdisciplinary work is based on social psycology and etnic psycology. Author gives main characteristic of the term “cross-cultural adaptation”, suggests a definition of cross cultural adaptation, provides with basic socio-psycological specialities of this adaptation type. The main task of the research is to carry out the pilot study, the aim of which is to find main sociopsychological specialities of cross-cultural adaptation of foreign students, aprovation of research methods of these specialities. In conclusion the author gives the draft of the portrait of a foreign student, structural components of which are the social and psychological features.
