Questionnaire “Innovative Potential of the Organization”: Organization and Content Development Stages

Abstract

The diagnostics of organization`s innovative potential is considered in the article. The authors define innovative potential as the logistical, financial resources of organizations, the psychological climate in the organization, the organizational culture and communication systems. Theoretical concept of the questionnaire consists of factors promoting and impeding innovation. The main category of the method is project group. It is a group of staff members, united by a common purpose – to perform an innovative task (project) and with overall responsibility for the results. The authors describe substantial characteristics of theoretical concept and described his phenomenology. All indicators of innovative capacity of the organization were divided into seven scales: resources, organization, atmosphere in the working group, support of leader, freedom, communication, ideas. Scale of “organization” and “atmosphere in the working group” is divided in two components. The authors identified the main sources of validity and developed a specification of the questionnaire “Innovative potential of the organization”.
