PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL FACTORS OF LABOR PROGNOSIS IN CORONARY VESSEL SURGERY

Abstract

The article deals with the results of a study of predictive information in relation to the resumption of work activity of various characteristics of CHD patients after high-technology surgery. There are studied 140 demographic, psychosocial, clinical and psychological (attitude to the disease and treatment, "internal picture of disease"), individual psychological (especially emotional and personality and value-motivational sphere, stress overcomes behavior) characteristics obtained by means of a structured interviews and 7 psychodiagnostic methods. As a result of the comparative analysis it is identified variables related with the returning to work of 48 patients with coronary artery disease undergoing coronary artery stenting (CAS) and 63 patients - after coronary bypass surgery (CABG). In the future, from a set of prognostic significant characteristics in each group (SKA and CABG) by using discriminant analysis it is highlighted the most informative, capable of differentiating patients with favorable and unfavorable working prognosis at the stage of preparation for surgery (separately - SKA and CABG), which may allow more purposefully develop programs of psychosocial rehabilitation and psychological support of patients.
