THE META-INDIVIDUAL MODEL OF DISCIPLINE (BASED ON CADETS AT THE MILITARY UNIVERSITY OF THE RUSSIAN INTERNAL TROOPS)
Abstract
In the framework of the meta-individual world theory, theoretical, psychometric, and empirical
preconditions to study personality dispositions to discipline and non-discipline are presented.
It is proposed a discipline composition as general discipline, self-discipline, and social discipline.
Also, it is proposed a non-discipline composition as general non-discipline, internal nondiscipline,
and social non-discipline. Further, we put forward a discipline isomerism. Based on
structural equation modeling, five models of discipline with hypothetically probable equality as
well as five models of non-discipline with hypothetically probable equality were specified. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to gain a composition of discipline and non-discipline. A special attention was drawn to discipline isomerism. Using structural equation modeling it was
found 3 models with the same composition, yet they possessed distinct structures with probable
equality. Surprisingly, the discipline isomerism was not supported with respect to the nondiscipline
models.
