Abstract

In the article the following issues are observed: implementation experience, problems and perspectives of the frequency-controlled asynchronous drive in mining machines, in particular, the implementation of traction electric drive of selfpropelled pneumowheel car V15K constructed with only one frequency converter and four parallelly connected asynchronous engines without feedback sensors.

Keywords: frequency-controlled electric drive, mining transport, frequency converter, mining self-propelled cat V15K, asynchronous engine with short-circuited rotor, motorized wheel.
