Selection of LC-filter parameters for PWM signal

Abstract

The procedure of engineering design of LC-filter parameters for high-frequency PWM signal has been proposed. The formulas of local approximation for basic filter engineering characteristics such as harmonic content, efficiency factor, characteristic stiffness factor are obtained. The local approximation makes it possible to choose the optimum relationship between the filter characteristics.
