THE MORPHOLOGY OF THE ECOLOGICAL ASPECT OF THE NUCLEAR ENGINEER PROFESSIONALISM

Abstract

One of the important aspects of the functioning of any industry is the ecological one.
In the nuclear industry, it acquires a key importance in view of the magnitude of the damage inflicted
on man and the environment as a result of a technogenic catastrophe. This entails the need
to include the environmental component in the characteristics of an engineer of the nuclear industry.
Based on the analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, regulatory documents,
approbation of the results obtained by using the method of expert assessments, the content of
the concept “professionalism of an engineer of the nuclear industry” in the ecological aspect is clarified:
the ecological properties of an engineer of the nuclear industry are described. The refined
concept of “professionalism of an engineer of the nuclear industry” can be useful in the process
of becoming an engineer in the nuclear industry.
