DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ SELF-EDUCATIONAL COMPETENCE AS A BASIS OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

Development of students’ self-educational competence is a basis of improving the quality of higher education from the concept of lifelong education. The conditions of developing students’ self-educational competence are revealed. The features and conditions of a subjective basis of lifelong education are specifically analyzed and systematized: knowledge of self-educational competence structure, single-mindedness of lecturer’s activity, versatility of self-educational competence, consistency and systematic character of lecturer’s activity, rationality of pedagogical activity. The groups of independent conditions of self-educational activity development are revealed and characterized: informational, organizational, educational and methodological conditions.
