CHINESE LOCALIZATION OF COMMUNICATIVE LINGUISTICS AND APPLICATION OF COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract

In recent years, with its fast development, Communicative Linguistics has become one of the most important linguistic studies in the world. At the same time, communicative method in foreign language teaching has become one of the hot topics in academic discussion. On the basis  of reviewing the current situation of communicative method in China for the past 20 years and briefly expounding the formation of communicative approach theory, this paper puts forward the author’s viewpoint on the problems of communicative method and how to promote this approach, and provide enlightenment for the development of communicative linguistics in China and Russia.
