INNOVATIVE PROJECTS AS MEANS OF FORMING STUDENTS’ READINESS TO INNOVATE

Abstract

The development of an innovative project is considered to be the means of forming and an indicator to assess the readiness of tourism management students to innovate. The analysis of the literature on the “innovative project” and “project method” shows the relationship between these concepts. The history of the introduction of a project method in education was described. The significance of the project method for the development of students' readiness to innovate is shown by demonstrating the usage of telecommunication projects developed by students. The stages of project development associated with the stages of forming students’ readiness to innovate were characterized. Assessment criteria for innovative projects were identified.
