CHARACTERISTICS OF READINESS OF STUDENTS TO CHOOSE AN INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION TRAJECTORY

Abstract

The implementation of individualized learning in accordance with the main regulatory
documents on education is ensured by the selection and design of students’ individual education
trajectories supported by the main participants of education process (teachers, educational psychologists,
parents). Federal State Education Standards (FSES) determine the readiness of students
to choose an individual education trajectory as the main results of mastering education.
However, in theoretical psychological and pedagogical research, there is no unity in the terminology
and understanding of the essence of such concepts as educational choice, individual education
trajectory, readiness to choose an individual education trajectory. The purpose of our
article is to determine the essential characteristics of students' readiness to choose an individual
education trajectory. We consider the choice, readiness to choose an individual education trajectory
in the context of the activity-procedural concept of D.A. Leontyev. The authors define the readiness
to choose an individual education trajectory as a dynamic system developing in education
relations with parents and teachers. The main characteristics of readiness to choose an individual
education trajectory are highlighted, their interrelation and dynamics are shown.
