DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstract

At present, the development of communication skills is being actualized by the necessity of
mutual understanding and dialogue of cultures, tolerance, respect for the culture of communication
partners. One of the possible ways to solve problems arising in the field of communication
between people in the field of professional activity is the formation of students' communicative
competence by means of a foreign language.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the innovative methods used in foreign language
teaching, to select and test the most effective methods, to structure them, to develop an integrated
technology for students to master communicative competence. The analysis of a number of concepts
related to effective and relevant methods of mastering communicative competence by students
in teaching English was made. The developed technology of students' mastering communicative
competence constitutes a multilevel complex of innovative methods and techniques.
