Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of influence of shielding layer parameters on the amount of excessive pressure impulse translated on the fixed rigid wall by the shock wave. It is demonstrated that the decrease in the diameter of particles in shielding layer leads to gas drainage from the barrier, which in turn leads to the increase of excessive pressure impulse. The suggestions on increasing the shielding efficiency are made based on the numerical experiment and taking into account the described effect
