Abstract

The article describes technical characteristics, mechanism and operation of the forging unit of a radial forging machine (RCM) SKK-14 of the GFM firm installed at the scientific-production enterprise “Metchiv” (Chelyabinsk). Equipment RCM variants of high-quality billet heating using induction heaters and a methodical electric oven as well as mechanized means of billets and finished forgings transportation are shown.
