Heat Treatment of Consumable Pattern Castings

Abstract

The paper describes regimes of heat treatment to reduce the hardness of consumable pattern castings from 0.35 % C steel, selected time-temperature parameters of annealing and results of testing the economical annealing regimes producing required properties of castings.
