Thermodynamic Analysis of the Water Gas Reaction

Abstract

Possible equilibrium concentrations of the water gas and concentrations of the gas obtained by heating Н2 – СО2 and Н2О – СО mixtures of various composition are presented as nomograms. The nomograms enable to determine the oxygen potential of the gas phase and conditions for the reduction of metal oxides.
