Abstract

The effect of blast parameters on the technical and economic performance of the No. 4 blast furnace at JSC “Ural Steel” is studied. The optimal values of the theoretical combustion temperature in the tuyere hearth and the kinetic energy of the gas flow in the tuyere are determined that provide the best indicators of blast furnace.
