On the Question of Working Capacity of a Fillet Weld of Crane Girders

Abstract

A numerical calculation of the stress-strain field by finite element method is presented. The most favorable geometry of the weld bead is revealed. Recommendations on the choice of the shape of the weld bead in the design technology of welding of crane girders are made.
