Working Capacity of Welded Sidewalls of a Tram-Car Section

Abstract

A comparative calculation of the two variants of assembly by welding of a sidewall module of a tram-car is performed using finite-element package ANSYS. On the basis of calculation results the welded structure with the best working capacity of the tram-car module sidewall is chosen.
