Recycling in Investment Casting

Abstract

The paper deals with recycling of spent sand-cement mixture for bulk mould in investment casting. X-ray diffraction study with “Dron-3M” diffractometer is performed. Preparation of spent sand-cement mixture includes crushing to the grain of fresh filler (finely dispersed quartz sand).
