The Role of Preliminary Heat Treatment in Formation of Structure and Properties of Pipeline Steels Quenched From Intercritical Temperature Range
Abstract
Influence of preliminary heat treatment on the hardness and impact toughness of 13KhFA steel quenched from intercritical temperature range is studied. Results are clarified by microstructural investigation. Revealed effects of prior microstructure on impact toughness of intercritically quenched and tempered steel are supported and supplemented with investigations of 20KhG2B steel
