Effect of Chemical Composition on the Heat Treatment Conditions of 110G13L Steel Castings
Abstract
The possibility of reducing the duration of heat treatment of castings made of 110G13L (1.1 C–13 Mn) steel by differentiation of temperatures of heating before quenching according to the carbon content is discussed. Influence of lowering the heating temperature upon microstructure is investigated for a series of experimental melts.
