TATAR PERSONAL NAMES REFLECTING THE OUTSIDE WORLD

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of personal names used in modeling the outside world. The author gives an outline of typological features of personal names motivation, analyzes Tatar personal names from the point of studying the human factor in language and speech, and proves that personal names reflecting the outside world constitute certain material for a profound research of cultural, national, psychological, mythological, and mythopoetic ideas in the language, as well as mentality of the nation in ethnolinguistics. The results of the research show that personal names refer to the nationally marked language layer. Cultural and historical associations, ethnocultural connotations of personal names are generated by different extralinguistic factors
