Abstract

The author studies the process of objectivizing the sub-modi of various levels of obligation in a
potential situation by the modal modifier надо (it needs) (“inevitability”, “necessity”, “supposition”,
“possibility”, “specification”, “intention”, “longing”, “expectation”. The author pays special attention to conditions of their manifestations and peculiarities in realizing actual and non-actual semantics of the modifier tense forms.
