TEXT TRANSFORMATION IN MASS MEDIA: ORAL AND WRITTEN FORMAT (BASED ON TRAINING AND RESEARCH PROJECTS)

Abstract

The article considers the problem of text transformation in modern mass media caused by the immediate
influence of the virtual environment. Today the network sets out a completely new system of
rules within which the Russian language operates; moreover, there appears a new form of language interaction
– the oral and written text. These changes refer to all types of the text: verbal, visual, and auditory
ones.
The current circumstances require a totally new generation of professionals capable of producing
texts in accordance with the demand of a fairly big audience that communicates in the same oral and
written language. Besides, it is a vital necessity to possess a creative skill of processing the information
gathered to have an impact on the audience, using the strengths of the new format of the text.
The author in the article resorts to the student opinion survey as a tool to systematize and summarize
the basic characteristics of the texts created in the network and to reveal the most frequently used
sign systems, techniques and forms.
