Abstract

The paper deals with the issues of making a customized learners’ dictionary by students
as a means and result of their reading competence development. The authors give
the definition of a customized learners’ dictionary, point out the peculiarities of individual
and collaborative dictionary management, describe the educational results of the lexicographic
activity while reading.
