MEDIA TEXTS GENRE ORIGINALITY OF ADVERTISING JOURNALISM
Abstract
The author explores the interaction of journalism and advertising from the standpoint
of the philological approach and introduces the concept of «advertising journalism». The
analysis clarifies the concept of «genre», genre-specific features, besides, three genres of
advertising journalism media texts are singled out: informational, analytical, publicistic.
Particular attention is paid to the research of information genres peculiarities of advertising
media texts (advertising note, interviews, question and answer, report), presented in
newspapers and magazines online versions. The author reveals the features of the structural
organization of the advertising information genres of journalism.
