FUNCTIONAL AND SEMANTIC PECULIARITIES OF THE ENGLISH NAMES OF MUSIC BANDS, ALBUMS AND SONGS

Abstract

The article reveals functional and semantic peculiarities of the English names of music bands, albums and songs based on chemical terms in the context of language and culture. The author gives examples showing the functional specificity of the names, the analysis of semantic fields and proves that the names present an onomastic space field of the English language.
