NATIONAL AND CULTURAL VARIETY OF REDUPLICATION IN SABAHATTIN ALI’S STORIES

Abstract

The author studies reduplication in S. Ali’s stories and determines its role in culturally specific reflection of the world picture. Reduplication is realized on phonetic, morphological, syntactic and lexicalsemantic levels. Reduplication emphasizes cultural peculiarity and national mentality, it promotes the creative attitude to the language.
