ELECTORAL CULTURE IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the content of an electoral culture, taking into account the specifics of its development in the Russian Federation. For Russia as for a democratic state, the level of its electoral culture is of great importance. The current situation of the electoral culture is characterized by its deficit among subjects of electoral legal relations. The lack of awareness of citizens about their rights, as voters, about the activities of election commissions, which is of a mass character, is a threat to the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens in this sphere, and in society as a whole
