USE OF ELECTRONIC OPERATIONAL-SEARCH INFORMATION IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS
Abstract
The author draws attention to the fact that in the modern information society,
theInternet resources are increasingly being used by accomplices in crimes for the joint
realization of criminal intent (sale of narcotics and psychotropic substances, fraud, committing
of various kinds of theft of someone else's property, manifestations of extremism,
etc.). The law enforcement authorities are forced to respond to the challenges of crime
with adequate methods of struggle, including theinvolvement of operational-search forces
and means. The author justifies that the receipt of electronic operational-search information
becomes an important task, which is solved taking into account the capabilities of
operational and operational-technical units, as well as the requirements of theoperationalsearch
and criminal procedural legislation.
