HUMAN RIGHT TO LIFE AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION IN THE LABOUR SPHERE

Abstract

The human right to life, health is the natural right of man, considered in various Sciences,
including the legal one. Its provision contributes to a number of institutions of the
labor law, which covers the complex of social relations connected with the organization
and management of work, establishing its conditions and protection, compulsory social
insurance and others. The article analyzes the current problematic issues of labor law,
available legal measures to preserve the health of citizens. Implementation of the measures
contained in the concept of long-term socio-economic development of the country till
2020 approved by the Government of the Russian Federation on 17 November 2008 allowed
to reduce injuries for the last 6 years in 1.5 times. However, in comparison with
similar indicators of economically developed countries, it remains high. One cannot be
sure that the situation in labor protection, health protection can be significantly improved
without solving the new issues not stipulated in this Concept. It concerns the change in the
use of personnel of organizations, involvement of workers in the management of organizations
and others.
